The Russian government, through Deputy Prime Minister Novak, announces that the adopted measures are working and the situation is gradually improving, while acknowledging residual difficulties.
The government is cast as the crisis solver, using official statements as evidence of effectiveness, without mentioning external causes such as Ukrainian attacks.
The role of Ukrainian drone strikes on refineries as a trigger for the crisis is omitted, a factor present in Atlantic and European accounts.
Ukraine, through its targeted strikes, is inflicting real damage on Russia's war machine and domestic stability, showing that the breaking point is near.
A direct causal link is established between Ukrainian attacks and Russia's fuel crisis, using urgent and strategically threatening language to legitimize Ukraine's action.
Recognition of Russian government measures to stabilize the market, present in Russian accounts, is omitted, and the partial stabilization mentioned by Novak is ignored.
The Russian government claims to have partially stabilized the market, but European sources stress that the crisis was triggered by Ukrainian attacks, revealing a strategic vulnerability.
Two narratives are juxtaposed: the official Russian one and one based on geopolitical analysis, creating an ambiguous picture that allows for divergent interpretations.
