Meanwhile, a newly formed air-defence coalition of Ukraine and nine European states is working to develop a lower-cost alternative to the US Patriot system, and France’s national day parade showcased troops from a 34-nation “coalition of the willing” that is coordinating security guarantees for Kyiv.
