
Ukraine’s robotic amphibious assault signals new era of unmanned warfare

Meanwhile, a newly formed air-defence coalition of Ukraine and nine European states is working to develop a lower-cost alternative to the US Patriot system, and France’s national day parade showcased troops from a 34-nation “coalition of the willing” that is coordinating security guarantees for Kyiv. With no diplomatic off-ramp in sight, the race to field integrated human-machine formations is set to intensify, and the next factual benchmark will be whether Ukraine meets its 2026 production target for ground robots while both sides further compress their sensor-to-shooter loops.
