Before that, he had built a reputation at Strasbourg, lifting the side into the top third of Ligue 1 and securing European qualification for the first time in eight years with a style the club described as free-flowing. Paris FC’s sporting director cited Rosenior’s modern coaching methods, tactical acumen and ability to unite a squad as aligning with the club’s philosophy. Antoine Arnault, representing the Arnault family’s ownership, expressed enthusiasm for the return of a coach he said had “always impressed” with his philosophy and his work with young players. The club, backed by the LVMH luxury group, is positioning itself for a more ambitious phase after Kombouaré’s survival mission.

Rosenior’s first training session is set for 9 July, with the immediate task of shaping a squad capable of climbing the Ligue 1 table. The four-year deal signals a long-term project, a contrast to the brevity of his Chelsea tenure.
