The regional prosecutor’s office is leading the inquiry to determine the cause of death and the extent of the detained man’s possible involvement.

In Concordia, Argentina, prosecutors are investigating the death of Milagros Schimf, whose body was discovered in her home. Her partner was arrested and is provisionally charged with instigation to suicide and repeated judicial disobedience. Argentine media report that the victim had previously filed complaints about threats and aggression, and a restraining order had been issued, yet the couple continued to live together. In Barbacena, Brazil, a 40-year-old medical student, Letícia de Morais Vasconcelos Rodrigues, was found dead in her apartment on Saturday. Her partner was arrested on suspicion of femicide after a multi-agency manhunt. Brazilian authorities stated that the suspect fled the scene but was intercepted near Bom Jardim de Minas.
All four investigations remain active. In the Argentine case, prosecutors await autopsy results to determine whether to amend the charges. Swiss police have appealed for witnesses. Swedish authorities have not disclosed the woman’s identity or age. The cases are being handled by local judicial systems, and no links between them are suggested.
